.exd: the website of an ecosystem of freelance talent

The context

.exd is a startup that builds custom teams of freelancers for companies’ projects: marketing, communication, design, development. Over 200 professionals across more than 50 disciplines, selected in seven countries.

The website had to explain a new way of working and lead companies to book a call.

My role

I supported the design and developed the website in Webflow, in Italian and English. Since then I’ve worked with .exd on many projects for its clients.

The solution

In a few sections, the home page tells you why to work with .exd: the right people in 48 hours, an international ecosystem, organisation and transparency. Then come the projects delivered for clients, the pricing and the call booking, always visible at the top.

Projects are managed in the CMS, so the team can add a new case without touching the layout. The English version uses Webflow Localization, with hreflang on every page.

Clear headings, sentences that make sense out of context and concrete numbers make the website easy to quote: that’s the foundation of GEO and AEO, being understood by answer engines as well as by Google.

The result

A website that explains a new way of working in a few seconds, in two languages, updated independently by the team. The .exd website has since been redesigned: the images show the version I developed.
