Materia by Brentaflex: the website of a sustainable mattress

The context

Materia is the Brentaflex line of handmade, durable, 100% recyclable mattresses. The idea is simple: sell fewer mattresses, but ones that last at least fifteen years and can be taken apart and recycled at the end of their life.

The website had to explain this choice calmly, product by product, in Italian and in English.

My role

I worked with .exd. I developed the website in Webflow, in both languages, and took care of the technical SEO.

The solution

The pages follow the story of the product: the values, the layers of the mattress, recycling, the stockists and the frequently asked questions. The two languages are handled with Webflow Localization, with dedicated addresses and hreflang for each version.

For SEO I wrote titles and descriptions in both languages and worked on the heading hierarchy and the image alt text. The structured data (Organization, Product, Offer) describes the brand and the products in a way Google and answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity can read: it is the foundation for GEO and AEO.

The result

A website that presents a handmade product with the same care that goes into making it, ready for Italian and international visitors and for search, both traditional and AI.
