exd.u: the website of a school for freelancers

The context

exd.u is the training project of .exd: hands-on courses in marketing, communication and technology, designed for freelancers and useful to everyone else too. The programmes grow out of the skills the market actually asks for.

The website had to present the school’s approach, show the courses and lead to enrolment.

My role

I supported the design, adapting it for responsive layouts and usability, and developed the website in Webflow.

The solution

The home page explains the school’s method in four points: learning by doing, programmes tied to the market, a space to experiment with different tools, the freedom to shape your own path. Then it highlights the current course and previews the upcoming ones.

Courses are managed in the CMS, with syllabus and topics, so the team can publish a new course without touching the layout. Enrolment and login are always at the top, and a bar announces the scholarships.

Explaining the method in clear points and describing each course by what you learn makes the content easy for Google and answer engines to understand and quote: the foundation of GEO and AEO.

The result

A tidy, recognisable website, consistent with the .exd world, that the team updates on its own with every new course. The website is no longer online: the images show the version I developed.
